Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful and ambitious. She refuses to let anything – or anyone – derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing he never wanted in life, is the only thing he can’t live without.

tempThis is the first book I’ve read from a man’s pov and it was an amazing experience. To think that the author who wrote this is a female, just wow. Hands freaking down.

I loved everything about this book! Especially Drew Evans, I mean, who would not love this man?

“He moved his trunk-like manhood toward the weeping petals of her womanly center.’

Who the f*ck talks like that?!”

At first he seemed really cocky to me. But then I started to fall for him, really fall for him. Drew Evans really knows how to get a lady fall for him. He’s really hilarious. I loved being inside his mind and I learned a lot from him!

“For those ladies out there who are listening, let me give you some free advice: If a guy who you just met at a club calls you baby, sweetheart, angel, or any other generic endearment? Don’t make the mistake of thinking he’s so into you, he’s already thinking up pet names.

It’s because he can’t or doesn’t care to remember your actual name.”

He was a womanizer until he met Kate Brooks. God, I admire this woman. She’s brave, smart, sexy and determined.

I also loved their banters. Really hilarious.

“Fuck you!”
She stalks back around my desk toward the door.
“Here? Now?” I look up at the ceiling, like I’m debating the prospect. “Well…okay. But be gentle. My couch is a virgin.”

Seriously, Emma Chase, you are freaking amazing. I loved the way you wrote this, it really feels like Drew is talking to readers. All in all, it was an awesomazing read. Tangled is funny, sexy, romantic and cute as hell.

Just a little warning: If you’re reading this in public, please don’t. Because they will think that you’re losing your shit for laughing so damn hard.
